TCE Seller Standards
The Trading Card Exchange is dedicated to providing sellers the most secure and user-friendly marketplace available. If you are a seller utilizing our platform, we thank you and ask that you abide by the following standards.

  • Clear and relevant photos – We ask that any listing photos you upload accurately represent both the content and condition of your product. We also ask that your listings remain limited to one item per entry. Finally, when listing on the Trading Card Exchange, we ask that you fill out all fields correctly and entirely.
  • Regarding Cross listings and cards sold off-site – We understand that cross listing and outside sales will happen, and we don’t hold it against you! We simply ask that you remove any listings that you do not have any longer in order to maintain the integrity of our marketplace. Accidents happen, so the first cancelled sale will be forgiven. The second canceled sale, however, will result in a temporary ban. Sellers who exceed 3 cancelled sales for any reason will be banned indefinitely.
  • Shipping – As a TCE seller when shipping a sale, you and you alone are responsible for packaging your item(s) in a manner that protects them against any mishandling in transit. Items that arrive to the Trading Card Exchange damaged, or in a condition other than that which was advertised will be returned at the seller’s cost. Buyers will receive a full refund.
  • Counterfeit and manipulated items – The Trading Card Exchange has an absolute 0 tolerance policy for counterfeit and manipulated (trimmed) items, and those who sell them knowingly or unknowingly. Any seller found to be listing counterfeit or manipulated items will have their account and listings removed immediately. If an item is deemed to be counterfeit/manipulated or in question upon reaching the Trading Card Exchange, it will be returned to the seller at their cost.

TCE Buyer Standards
The Trading Card Exchange is dedicated to providing Buyers the most secure and user-friendly marketplace available. If you are a buyer utilizing our platform, we thank you and ask that you abide by the following standards.

  • Refund Policy – Due to the often-volatile nature of trading card and wax prices we do not offer refunds on any product purchase from our site or app.

If your order arrives damaged due to handler error, we can certainly aid you in filing a claim. Additionally, seeing as insurance companies will look for any reason not to pay for a claim, if your package arrives visibly damaged, we strongly recommend recording the opening for claim purposes.

Raw Card Disclaimer for Sellers – The Trading Card Exchange understands the headaches that fraudulent and remorseful returns can cause sellers. When buying raw cards, there is always the risk that certain flaws may not be overtly visible in certain listing photos. If your card/product(s) arrives to the Trading Card Exchange in a condition other than that advertised in your listing, the item will be returned to you at your request.

Raw Card Disclaimer for Buyers – If you are buying a raw card, we ask that you thoroughly examine listing photographs for any flaws, as we will do the same. The Trading Card Exchange cross references listing photos alongside the card shipped to ensure the quality and accuracy of your purchase. If your card/product(s) arrives to the Trading Card Exchange in a condition other than that advertised in the sellers listing, you will be refunded entirely.

Why has my account been suspended/ banned?

Your account will be suspended if you have a history of fraudulent listings, cancelled sales or purchases, rescinded offers or numerous account reviews. If you are subject to a suspension, you will be notified via email as to the cause, and duration of the suspension. We pride ourselves on the safety of our marketplace, and ask that you thoroughly read through all buyer and seller standards.

What happens to money in my account if I am suspended or banned?

Fear not! If your account is suspended, you have the option to withdraw your funds, or keep them in your account for the duration of the suspension.
