Normas de vendedor de TCE

Trading Card Exchange se dedica a proporcionar a los vendedores el mercado más seguro y fácil de usar disponible. Si usted es un vendedor que utiliza nuestra plataforma, le damos las gracias y le pedimos que cumpla con los siguientes estándares.

  • Fotos claras y relevantes – Le pedimos que cualquier foto de listado que cargue represente con precisión tanto el contenido como el estado de su producto. También pedimos que sus anuncios permanezcan limitados a un artículo por entrada. Por último, al cotizar en el Intercambio de tarjetas de trading, le pedimos que rellene todos los campos correctamente y por completo.
  • Con respecto a los listados cruzados y las tarjetas vendidas fuera del sitio – Entendemos que la lista cruzada y las ventas externas ocurrirán, y no lo tenemos en su contra! Simplemente le pedimos que elimine cualquier anuncio que ya no tenga para mantener la integridad de nuestro mercado. Los accidentes ocurren, por lo que la primera venta cancelada será perdonada. La segunda venta cancelada, sin embargo, resultará en una prohibición temporal. Vendedores que exceden 3 ventas canceladas por cualquier motivo serán prohibidas indefinidamente.
  • Envío – Como vendedor de TCE al enviar una venta, usted y usted son los únicos responsables de empaquetar sus artículos de una manera que los proteja contra cualquier mal manejo en tránsito. Cualquier vendedor que se encuentre en la lista de artículos falsificados o manipulados tendrá su cuenta y listados eliminados inmediatamente. Si un artículo se considera falsificado/manipulado o en cuestión al llegar al intercambio de tarjetas comerciales, se devolverá al vendedor a su costo.

What is the Trading Card Exchange?

The Trading Card Exchange is an online marketplace designed specifically with the resale of trading cards in mind! The Trading Card Exchange is the easiest, most trusted way to buy and sell trading cards, as well as unopened boxes, boosters cases and more! What is a graded card?

Per the Trading Card Exchange’s listing classification, a slabbed card is a card that has been BOTH encased and graded by a third-party grading service. Cards that have been encased but not graded (screw down, magnetic case) should be listed as ‘ungraded’. Currently, the Trading Card Exchange only allows users to list cards verified by the following third parties.

  • PSA - Professional Sports Authenticator
  • BGS - Beckett Grading Services
  • SGC - Sports Card Guarantee
  • CGC - Certified Guaranty Company
What is a raw card?

Per the Trading Card Exchange’s listing classification, a raw card is any card that has not been BOTH encased and graded by a third party. Cards that are encased but not graded (screw down, magnetic case) are still considered ‘ungraded’. Additionally, cards in sleeves, top loaders or cards straight from the pack are all considered ‘ungraded’.

Simply search for a trading card through the marketplace exchange to see all current slabbed or raw listings! You can then buy or make an offer on any card on the marketplace! Start here

I just purchased a card on the exchange - how long until I receive it?

Once a card is sold over the exchange, the seller has 2 days to confirm the sale (weekends included). After the sale is confirmed, the seller has another 2 days to ship the sale to the Trading Card Exchange for verification. We always aim to turn your card around the same day we receive it, however shipping times may vary based on choice of carrier and packaging preference.

How does Trading Card Exchange protect me?

Security is of the utmost importance to us here at the Trading Card Exchange! We have developed an 8-step authentication process for all graded cards in order to ensure you never buy a fake card again! Additionally, payment and shipping are hassle free. Never chase a payment or a shipment ever again!

What payment forms are accepted?

Trading Card Exchange accepts PayPal, Mastercard, Visa and AMEX. At this time we are currently working on providing both purchase and payout functionality for both Venmo or Zelle.

Can I purchase multiple cards in one transaction?

Yes! However there are currently a few limitations. If you are looking to purchase multiple cards in one transaction, they must all be shipped by the same vendor. We are working on a solution that will allow buyers to seamlessly purchase items from numerous vendors within the same transaction.

How do I register to sell cards on Trading Card Exchange?

New users can opt to register as a vendor when creating a new account. If you have an existing account, you can always register to sell on the exchange by registering as a vendor.

How does Trading Card Exchange protect me as a seller?

We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again, security is of the utmost importance to us here at the Trading Card Exchange! We understand that you have probably had negative experiences using the traditional auction format, that’s why we want to change the way you buy and sell cards. What are commission rates I pay to Trading Card Exchange?

Shipping fees are always calculated net of final sale prices. We utilize USPS First Class and USPS Priority insured as shipment options for our vendors to offer buyers. Credit card fees and paypal payment fees are not included. Any questions, please email support.

How long does seller registration take?

The registration process itself takes roughly 2 minutes. After the registration process has been submitted it will be reviewed by the Trading Card Exchange administrators. This review process could take two hours or two days depending on volume; however, we always strive to review your account as soon as possible!

How do I list a card for sale?

Registered sellers can head to their Dashboard to list a card. To list, simply create a new product in your Dashboard, take a couple snaps of your card and complete the listing. Your cards will then be listed in your account and will be available for sale on our exchange.

How long does it take to sell a card?

As long as it takes someone to click buy now or send an offer! Unfortunately, we cannot predict how long a card will take to sell. We can however provide you accurate pricing data, as well as an abundance of potential buyers! In return, all we ask is that you maintain accurate and detailed listings to ensure search accuracy!

My card(s) just sold, what now?

Once your card is sold you have 2 days to confirm the sale (weekends included). After the sale is confirmed, you have another 2 days to ship the sale to the Trading Card Exchange  for verification. Cancelled sales will result in a loss of 10 seller points, and repeated cancelled sales will result in your account being placed ‘under review’ and possible suspended or banned.

Once my card is sold, how long until I receive payment?

Seller’s will receive payment immediately after their card(s) have been received and processed by the Trading Card Exchange. Payment can be transferred to a verified payout method by selecting ‘Cash Out’ under the ‘Sell’ portal. Payout times vary greatly depending on the chosen payout method.  Please check with your carrier for estimated payout times!

What shipping options do I have as a buyer?

The Trading Card Exchange aims to ensure both the safety and efficiency of all outgoing shipments; therefore, we offer a number of different shipping options! Depending on the final sale price of your card, or size of your order a recommended shipping method will be suggested to you.

Current shipping limits per method:

USPS Reinforced Envelope: 1 ungraded card Max

USPS Padded Mailer: 5 ungraded cards max

USPS Small Flat Rate Box: 10 ungraded cards max OR 3 graded cards max

USPS Medium Flat Rate Box: 6 hangers max OR 3 blasters max OR 1 mega max

USPS Large Flat Rate Box: TBD

What shipping options do I have as a seller?

We are currently working on updating our incoming shipping process. Soon, sellers will receive an email containing pre-paid postage when sending their sale to the Trading Card Exchange for verification.

When your card is sold, you are free to ship your card however you please! Please note you and you alone are responsible for packaging your item(s) in a manner that protects them against any mishandling in transit.

Shipment Insurance

All cards shipped from the  Trading Card Exchange to the eventual buyer are insured for the final purchase price. This means your card is insured for the actual sale price, not an insured/inflated value.

The Trading Card Exchange is not currently responsible for insuring incoming packages, this is entirely up to the seller.

Once our pre-paid postage update is available, buyers and sellers will be able to add additional incoming or outgoing insurance to shipments seamlessly.

My profile has been placed under review. What does this mean?

If your account has been placed under review, you will be temporarily unable to login. Sellers who have a history of fraudulent listings or cancelled sales may have their account placed under review. Additionally, buyers with a history of rescinded offers or cancelled purchases may also have their account placed under review.

Here at the Trading Card Exchange, we’re serious about protecting buyers and sellers using our platform! If you have a history of having your account placed under review, you may be suspended or banned from the platform.

Why has my account been suspended/ banned?

Your account will be suspended if you have a history of fraudulent listings, cancelled sales or purchases, rescinded offers or numerous account reviews. If you are subject to a suspension, you will be notified via email as to the cause, and duration of the suspension. We pride ourselves on the safety of our marketplace, and ask that you thoroughly read through all buyer and seller standards.

What happens to money in my account if I am suspended or banned?

Fear not! If your account is suspended, you have the option to withdraw your funds, or keep them in your account for the duration of the suspension. If you happen to be banned, any money in your account will automatically be deposited into your active payout method. If your payout method has changed and payment cannot be completed, please contact us to complete your withdrawal. Any payouts due to suspension or ban are subject to your carrier’s transfer fees.
